White Mage

DPS Rank: 16th
Type: Pure Regen Healer
Job Mastery Difficulty: Attack Rotation: Easy, Skill Knowledge: Intermediate
RP Non-WoL: Conjurer: Yes; White Mage: No
Pros: A solid kit for regen healing and is the heaviest hitter of all Healers.
Cons: MP management. No damage utility.

Best Used By

  • Players looking to deal hearty damage and have a good handle on MP management. Great for beginners to start with healing.

Special Notes

  •  HQ Super-Ethers are super helpful for WHM to deal with multiple rezzing.

Rotational Tips

  • Keep Assize, PoM and Lucid (unless >9k MP) on cooldown.
  • Refresh Dia at 0-2s without dropping Dia.
  • If >3 Targets: Holy instead of Glare
  • Lilies are DPS Neutral

Patch 6.5 Opener and Rotations
Use the No Swift Opener if dealing with unknown circumstances, The Swift Opener is the best, but will leave WHMs without Swiftcast for One Minute.

Scholar

DPS Rank: 18th
Type: Support Shield Healer
Job Mastery Difficulty: Attack Rotation: Easy, Skill Knowledge: Advanced
RP Non-WoL: Yes
Pros: A Solid class for shielding, healing and a potent party damage utility.
Cons: Reliance on its oGCD healing can be fatal for the party if overused. MP Management is essential

Best Used By

  • Veteran Players looking to Shield Heal and can predict incoming damage while also having good regen healing.

Special Notes

  • Double Weaving any fairy commands (Fey Healing, Illumination, etc.) is not desirable and should be avoided as there is a significant delay from the fairy which causes clipping with the GCD window.
  • Just like the Summoner, the pet does count towards any stack mechanics.
  • Fairy Potency is roughly .93 of Player’s potency. In full party with full 5% role bonuses, the potency is .89.

Rotational Tips

  • Broil should always be used and slidecasted as often as possible. Only opt to use Ruin II when badly out of position. Refreshing Bio for longer movement time is preferable than using Ruin II.
  • With the new GCD speed of this tier, double weaving is not preferable for the SCH.
  • Shields apply faster now (during slidecast window), however, double weaving Deployment Tactics after Adloquium should be avoided as it will clip the GCD timer due to how long Adlo takes to cast.
  • Keep Chain Stratagem and Lucid (unless >9k MP) on cooldown
  • Refresh Bio at 0-2s left without dropping Bio
  • Using Dissipation first does have some benefits where you can fully utilize the 2000 mp boost from
  • Aetherflow, have your fairy 15s earlier and aligns Aetherflow to fully use 6 Energy Drains. However, the risk is that it can change how healing is planned out and can affect your ability use 6 Energy Drains in the future of the fight.

Patch 6.5 Opener and Rotations
The Two Openers are shown here, however, the No Swift Opener works for general purpose and the Swift Opener requires a DPS forward mindset and needs all 6 Energy Drains to be used.

Type: Support Regen Healer
Job Mastery Difficulty: Attack Rotation: Advanced, Skill Knowledge: Expert
RP Non-WoL: Yes, with access to certain regions
Pros: A great support healer class with innate MP recovery through the card system and party utility to assist with damage
Cons: Is incredibly busy and not as potent with healing and damage as WHM

Special Notes

  • The Card system is secondary to healing, but essential to MP.
  • Carding Priority depends entirely on player skill, party composition and burst windows.

Rotational Tips

  • Always use Astrodyne during 2m windows.
  • Keep Earthly Star, Lightspeed, Divination and Lucid (unless >9k MP) on cooldown.
  • Refresh Combust at 0-2s left without dropping Combust
  • Hold Draw Charges, Major Arcana Draws and Astrodyne for Divination windows, but do not overcap

Sage

DPS Rank: 17th
Type: Pure Shield Healer
Job Mastery Difficulty: Attack Rotation: Easy, Skill Knowledge: Intermediate
RP Non-WoL: Yes, but with access to certain regions
Pros: Damage = Small consistent healing meaning less time GCD healing
Cons: Not recommended to go into duties with inexperienced players as it will heavily tax the Sage.

Best Used By

  • Journeyman Players with solid knowledge of mechanics. Mitigation is a key component to the job.

Special Notes

  • Kardia is not a target and forget. Use Kardia to regen heal players instead of GCD healing to maximize MP/Addersgall conservation and DPS output.
  • Toxikon is DPS Neutral and will be a DPS loss even in multiple target scenarios if trying to actively proc in battle.

Patch 6.5 Opener and Rotations

  • Keep Lucid on Cooldown (Unless >9k MP)
  • Hold stacks of Phelgma for Raid buffs
  • Pepsis should only be used for breaking shields to reapply shields in the event the shields will fall off before incoming damage.
  • Only use Toxikon for movement purposes and only refill when necessary.
